Rik Moran
London, England, United Kingdom
Description: He's been involved in bringing to London some of the world’s best-rated, but least-exposed, house, disco and techno DJs and live acts, including: Prosumer, Rick Wilhite, Sound Stream, Mark E and Mark Seven. They also ran the Sexy Dogs parties at Dalston Superstore featuring guests such as Mark Seven and Hunee then latterly he was involved in the Beyond The Clouds parties at Corsica Studios, a series of fantasy dance nights with line-ups they’d dreamt about for years, with Lil Louis, Anthony 'Shake’ Shakir, Ben UFO, Move D, Cajmere, DJ Deep and FunkinEven all guesting. He hosted a radio show for Josh Brent’s Barcelona based DosTrece for several years before they launched TOTHEBONE radio, a monthly podcast running for just over ten years (and these days more occasional than ever). Dubbed ‘monthly adventures in radio’ the show veers from European charity shop finds to African hi-life to tops-off disco and classic house, and ‘never knowingly’ plays the same record twice.
