TCHRLZ
Québec, Quebec, Canada
Description: TCHRLZ is a DJ and producer based in Québec City, Canada, with a musical identity rooted in house and techno. His approach is driven by groove, energy and a constant desire to move between styles rather than stay confined to a single corner of electronic music. Behind the decks, TCHRLZ builds sets that can travel from house and its funkier, disco-infused roots into deeper, harder and more hypnotic techno territory. That same philosophy increasingly shapes his work as a producer: dancefloor-focused music built around strong grooves, evolving textures and arrangements that develop over time. TCHRLZ is also the host and producer of Électro Québec, a weekly electronic music radio show broadcast on CKRL 89.1 FM in Québec City. The show provides a platform for new electronic music, emerging artists and established producers while keeping a strong connection to Québec’s local scene. Beyond radio and production, he is actively involved in Québec City’s electronic music community through Danser Tôt, a recurring early-evening dance event built around accessibility, community and the simple idea of getting people together on a dancefloor. Whether producing, DJing, broadcasting or helping create spaces for electronic music in his hometown, the same idea connects the different sides of the TCHRLZ project: a genuine love for club music and for the culture surrounding it. From disco to techno, let’s go.
