Description: Heavy, relentless repetition designed to completely melt your brain on a 4 A.M. dancefloor
Bio: Cutting through the dense fog of midwestern warehouse raves in the late '90s and early 2000s, this Indianapolis-based selector was right in the thick of the region’s underground scene. As a proud member of the legendary House of Babylon crew, he didn't just witness the movement—he helped fuel it, commanding packed, sweat-soaked dancefloors across Indy, Chicago, and beyond. Armed with nothing but packed record flights and an uncompromising vinyl-only ethos, his sets were masterclasses in kinetic energy. He seamlessly bridged the gap between the hypnotic, relentless drive of midwest techno and the soulful, lifting energy of house. His signature sound was an electric, high-octane collision: explosive, filter-swept disco loops that kept the energy soaring, anchored by deep, primeval tribal drums that resonated straight through the concrete floors. It was the kind of heavy, relentless repetition designed to completely melt your brain on a 4 A.M. dancefloor. Every transition was a high-wire act, with him riding pitch faders and locking grooves with the raw, hands-on precision that defined the analog era. This distinct sonic identity made him a go-to selector for the era's biggest massives and underground gatherings, sharing the bill and setting the stage for a staggering lineup of electronic music royalty. Whether priming the room with driving rhythms for Angel Alanis and Paul Anthony, matching the eclectic, cosmic energy of DJ Chocolate the Freaky Afronaut, or setting the vibe for global heavyweights like Dave Audé and the legendary "Superstar DJ" Keoki, he consistently proved why the Midwest's underground was second to none. In a time of map points, glowing glowsticks, PLUR culture, and towering speaker stacks vibrating until sunrise, he stood as a pure channel for the raw, unifying spirit of 90s rave culture—delivering pure, unadulterated dancefloor euphoria, one spinning piece of wax at a time.
